Shannon (Shan) is half of Dude You Good? (Though whether she is the “Dude” or “Good” no one knows), she also voices Babs on our GNSradio podcast, is the voice of Buster Nut in the our new actual play podcast (Nutbusters) and is a member of the Caffeine Addled Minds. She has been a friend of Luke’s for years and when not creating podcast content, is an artist, gamer, horror fan and cat haver to Bandit who also appears on Dude You Good? 

Shannon, as mentioned enjoys horror and takes great delight in calling out Jordan and Luke on being horror wusses (an insult that is just untrue, as we’ve both watched all of the Halloween town movies and not once did we need to hide our eyes!). However it is fair to say that Shannon is far more educated in this genre than we are and will often bring interesting facts and tales to the table.

So without further ado lets dive into the dark and mysterious world of Shannon.

What is your favourite thing about being a member of the Caffeine Addled Minds?

I think it’s got to be the creativity of it. Like it’s, how do you describe it? When we’re all in a room together, or just all kind of brainstorming together, how we just bounce off of each other.

Care to expand?

I really enjoy how it makes me feel more creative to do other stuff outside of caffeine Addled Minds. It’s fuel!

Also it’s just getting to chill with friends but getting to do something fun so yeah. 

What would you like to see in the future for the Caffeine Addled minds?

Hmm… A cardboard cut out in a park that has a special button that gives us quotes, that’s when I know we’ve made it. I want to see corporation. Well Alex is C.E.O* because he’s the business person, but yeah I want to see us get places.

But yeah it’s wild though be able to get together and do this. Have more time to be able to get together and do more.

*Alex is not C.E.O he just thinks he is.

What is your favourite food?

Now are we talking about like a meal?

No it’s whatever you would consider to be your go to food.

It would probably be cheesy garlic bread. (Laughs). 

What is your favourite film?

That’s an impossible question to answer, that can’t be answered. Under what category? What kind of film? Good films, bad films, animated films? Foreign films? Thats an impossible question! 

Okay if you were on a desert island and you literally only had time to grab one film.

No that’s impossible, because I mean what mood am I in? Do I wanna weep? Do I wanna be scared? 

Do you realise who you’re talking to?

Yeah.

So, like what?

No.

I’d take like a horror, I’d take like a porn, because why wouldn’t you? And I’d take Howl’s moving castle. No, no no….

I think I’d take The Thing for the horror.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what would be the one thing you would have to make sure you had with you? 

I can’t answer that question.

What do you think is in the duck pond in our GNSradio podcast?  

Umm. I thought it was some weird kind of Eldritch horror kind of… that no one can actually picture what it is, because if you look at it it’s going to make you mad, you know what I mean? 

Either that or just a void.

Toeses on noses or noses on toses??? 

Now these are the deep philosophical questions, umm…

I’d probably have to have theses on my noses. Hmm.
