March Update

I’m back and didn’t I tell you February was a short one? Why it feels like just minutes ago I was doing the final proof read ready for the upload of last month’s post. (Which I was, because I like to get these started early otherwise I leave it until the last minute and panic type my way through gibberish).

So updates…

First for those of you who follow us on Instagram you may have noticed an increase in posts, particularly regarding progress on projects. That’s right we’re actually trying to be better at social media when it comes to promoting our shows but also more importantly for those of you who listened to season one of GNSRadio you may have noticed I posted that Season 2’s script is being written. Well it’s nearly finished and recording is set to begin soon!

(Imagine the gif of Kermit the frog waving his hands in crazy celebration, because that is genuinely how my mind is right now.)

Caskheads’ triumphant return has happened and more episodes shall be coming out and I want to thank everyone who has listened to the new episode already. I admit they may not be two weekly as I would like them to be but we have a lot going on both Caffeine Addled Minds wise and just life in general. So I am trying to drop a new episode at least once a month, however I apologise if I fail to do so. We are only human (except for Luke who may be a lizard person, the tests haven’t come back yet).

Dude you good is doing a two part dive into the Elizabethan era, which definitely means they will cover everything there could ever possibly be to know about that time. If you ask me two podcast episodes should be more than enough to cover (after a quick search) 45 years, even with them repeating themselves, getting side tracked and interrupted by their cats.

Finally as promised back in August, there will be some “in universe” GNSradio posts. These aren’t going to be every month as we have other shows but if you enjoy our GNSradio podcast then I hope you will enjoy these as well. The first one will go live today along side this post.

Now with the updates out of the way I can get on with my favourite part of the blog, my musings, ramblings and most important of all my honest thank you to all of you who listen to, read or watch any of our shows and posts.

The four of us at Caffeine Addled Minds continue to love what we do because we’re all silly goofy and yes a little weird when it comes to some of our creations. We are all self-acknowledged nerds and although the jury’s out on who is the biggest nerd amongst us (I type this as l look around at my collection of Lego, Star Wars things, Lego Star Wars, Dinosaurs, Lego Dinosaurs, Video Games, DVD’s, Books, Graphic Novels, and oh my god so much Lego, and I realise it’s quite possibly me). Yet I’m getting side tracked once again. What I’m trying to say is we appreciate the fact that you great people out there seem to like what we do, some of it may not appeal to you all and that’s fine, but hopefully if you are reading this you like at least one of our shows and if you know of someone else who shares your interests then all we can do is humbly ask you tell them they “NEED TO CHECK THIS OUT!” Yell it at them, it doesn’t matter where they are, it could be in the middle of a meeting, in the car, in the cinema, at the dentist (Okay maybe respect the dentist) but you get the idea.

If they haven’t checked us out yet then tell them they need to because we’re great and the fact that you listen to and follow us means you’re even greater than we are, so that makes you super great.

As I’m writing this I have literally just got an email telling me my Star Trek Strange New Worlds DVD has been delivered, so yeah I am making it official I am the nerdiest amongst us and wrapping this up because I have a DVD to play.

Jordan (Co-founder and creator of the Caffeine Addled Minds).
