Alex:

Alex is the oldest member of the Caffeine Addled Minds (in age if not membership). He is under the impression he is the C.E.O (although there has never been any formal recognition or vote regarding him ascending to this lofty position). When not involved with the Caffeine Addled projects Alex is an avid 3D printer, A small pub location cataloguer for his own geographical layout of where he lives, and has a job I still don’t fully understand what he does at (I just know he’s important, or I think that’s what he tells me while my eyes kind of glaze over as he tries to explain it to me yet again). Oh and he loves Guitars.

You may well have heard Alex on several of our projects and if not then you need to listen to more of them! He has appeared in: Caskheads (A podcast for whisk(e)y about whisk(e)y), Nutbusters (Our actual play podcast about sentient acorns and their nemesis organisation S.Q.U.I.R.R.E.L), we both had a series of videos where we played Minecraft which can still be found on Youtube on our channel as well as Alex’s, and most importantly he is the other half of the critically acclaimed (in our eyes) spin off episodes of Dude You Good (Ours being Bro You Fine?) where we basically hijacked Luke and Shannon’s podcast for three episodes.

So without further ado lets dive into the very technical and guitar focused world of Alex:

What is your favourite thing about being a member of the Caffeine Addled Minds?

It is definitely the group chat! The group chat is the best part, forget the creative projects.

Care to expand?

The group chat has a number of shenanigans, it’s sporadic and full of memes and something tends to be said every day.

What would you like to see in the future for the Caffeine Addled minds?

Oooo… Umm, I would like an editor to bring to life my creations without me having to edit. Then basically I can do more projects.

What is your favourite food?

Burgers. Gotta be burgers.

What is your favourite film?

I used to have an answer to this.

We’ll have to settle for the one that made me laugh the hardest the first time I watched it, so The Hangover. That one really got me.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what would be the one thing you would have to make sure you had with you?

A hunting knife. Not for the hunting, chopping, cutting survival.

What do you think is in the duck pond in our GNSradio podcast?

I think it is a robot, a sentient robot. A GNS creation that has become alive and disappeared to the bottom of the pond and its actually perfectly innocent.

Toeses on noses or noses on toses???

Im going to have to go with toeses on noses because I don’t want to be sniffing the insdes of my shoes all day or the ground.
