July Update

Well it’s July by the time you are reading this (presuming I remember to schedule the release date properly). First off I apologise for the delay on June’s update post, it was all done and dusted but I had not actually scheduled it to go live. Now this in itself is not too much of a worry to me (I am after all fallible I will be the first to admit I can make mistakes and do) however I would like to note that none of the Caffeine Addled Minds got in touch with me to say “Hey Jordan, do you know you haven’t done a Caffeine Addled News post this month?”

Now I know people can be (and are) busy but I would have thought at least one of them would have noticed this error on my part if for no other reason than to tease me for forgetting. So I have to wonder if my fellow Caffeine Addled Minds read these. It’s for this reason I am going to put in a little test to see how long until any of them read this and get in touch to complain.

The following statements are my test (having a little giggle to myself)

Luke smells.

Shanon smells.

Alex smells (and is not the C.E.O).

Now I know these are pretty savage insults that may take years of therapy to get over and could even risk tearing apart the very foundation of the Caffeine Addled Minds. I can only hope we can get over it with time and proper healing. I’m not making fun of therapy or anyone who has been by the way, I have myself and I actually recommend therapy to anyone who thinks it might help them.

So with the apology and savage insults out of the way lets get to updates.

Nutbusters season 2 is about a third of the way edited. (This may not seem like a lot but believe me it is a tough job to do when the recording is over six hours and you’re trying to get episode timing right, keep just the right amount of swears in and get the licence free (thank you Pixabay) sound effects and music to line up). I hope it will be ready to publish by the end of summer but if not then it will be the beginning of autumn.

The Caffeine Addled Archives are going strong and keeping us all on our toes as we continue to log our thoughts and completely reasonable views regarding David Bowie vs David Attenborough (and yes I did just have to search how to spell his name). Mr. Attenborough I love your work and you are a legendary figure in nature documentaries and broadcasting but that’s a lot of letters to type.

I have to admit Caskheads has fallen behind again and that is my fault. I have been busy myself and yes some of it has been editing Nutbusters (which is draining my brain I swear) but also I have been putting a lot of time into writing outside of the Caffeine Addled Minds and I am thrilled with the progress trying to meet my dead line I have imposed on myself but it has gotten in the way of my Caffeine Addled duties and for that I have the following savage statement.

Jordan smells.

So with the updates out of the way I want to get a little note in about August’s update (as in next month).

August will not only be an update as usual but also the one year anniversary of me re-starting and committing to publishing the blog. Now I know on paper finding something to type about once or twice a month doesn’t seem impressive but the routine of getting these posts done has been great for me (and I’d like to think the betterment of the Caffeine Addled Minds in general). Now I don’t know how many people actually read the Caffeine Addled News posts but to anyone who does I can’t thank you enough. I love to write and this blog has motivated me to write more regularly and get back into a routine. So I will say it now and believe me I will say it again next month.

Anyone who reads this post does not smell.

But also you really are an amazing person, just for reading these, I cannot express how much I appreciate the thought of someone taking the time to read what I have written in any form.
