February Update

Hello and welcome back to Caffeine Addled News, the blog where we talk about our projects, creators and random rants from myself when I get let loose with this.

It’s February and it’s time for an update!

Our actual play podcast Nutbusters is now airing, the first two episodes having dropped last month. You can check it out by searching for our Caffieneaddledminds podcast channel (this is where shows that don’t fall under our main three can be found).

Dude you good is in full swing with Shannon and Luke continuing to try and stay on topic and not get distracted by their cats for too long, who as we all know are the true stars of the show. I also want to take the time to say a big thank you to Luke for getting all of Dude You Good onto Youtube you can find it here if you like to consume your podcast media that way.

And in even more spectacular news. Caskheads is back! That’s right after a hiatus of far greater than average proportions, Luke and I took back to the mic with a glass of whisky to review and I think we got back into the swing of it (more or less).

Caskheads, for those of you who don’t know or remember, is a podcast about whisk(e)y for whisk(e)y where we talk about distilleries, styles and Luke creates completely fictional lore about the epic battle for justice between the mysterious Cask Whisperer, his charge the Quarter cask and the nefarious Stillman. (We do cover more serious and factual aspects of the industry as well, but this is Luke, so yeah). In this episode our triumphant return, we talk about the Glen Moray distillery, look at their preference of casks and importantly review a bottle Luke filled at the distillery when we were up there for research reasons. The episode will drop later this month so keep an eye out.

Finally Shannon (one of the Caffeine Addled Minds and half of Dude You Good?) Has been hard at work for this blog as well and we have our first not me typed post. (I know I’m great and you all come here for me, not not me. But this blog is a Caffeine Addled News Blog not the Jordan show.) Anyway Shannon asked to do a post and I thought that was a great idea because it also meant I could take it easy this month, so enjoy her musings and I’ll see you next month.

Well, I think that about covers the update for this month. I know it’s a short one, but then again so is February.

Jordan (Co-founder and creator of the Caffeine Addled Minds).
